Hello walking enthusiasts!
We are excited to announce some big changes and exciting additions that will take your Canberra Aussie Peace Walking experience to a whole new level.
Introducing the MarchMingle
We’ve taken a lot of feedback on board and are thrilled to announce the introduction of the brand new MarchMingle, a 7km walk designed for those who want to join in on the fun but prefer a shorter distance.
With this addition, we are embracing the ‘Mingle’ naming convention for all our walk events, including the beloved two-day combinations to be known as the MoseyMingle (11+12km), MultiMingle (21+24km), and MegaMingle (42+24km).
Engaging Articles Section
Stay connected and be inspired by captivating walking articles.
Our new ‘Articles’ section is now live with an array of categories that will cover everything from personal walking experiences to training tips.
And don’t worry – we have more exciting articles in the pipeline; this is just the beginning.
Route Changes for 2024
We’ve made some changes to the route based on feedback from our regular walkers to make it more interesting for our Aussie Peace Walk participants.
There will be changes to all Sunday events. For example, the 24km will go in the opposite direction and will have a section through Stirling Ridge instead of along the side of the lake.
We will announce all the changes to the routes in the coming months.
We’re begun rolling out improvements to the website to make it easier for you to find event information and inspirational walking articles.
